On-time had a cooperation with the City of Riihimäki in Finland in connection with an experiment that began in May last year. The On-Time call robot contacted the people of Riihimäki to find out their affiliation and well-being in the midst of a corona pandemic. At the same time, opinions on city services and current decisions concerning residents were also surveyed with call automation.
During 2020, On-time conducted nine different surveys in which the people of Riihimäki were able to use our mobile communication platform to share their feedback with the city. The surveys concerned the change in everyday life during the corona, visits to museums, membership of entrepreneurs, the functioning of youth services, internal staff communication, exercise and well-being, and such a large topic as to make Riihimäki an even more comfortable place to live.
The on-time call robot reached thousands of city dwellers who were eager to share their thoughts on developing a common city and its services. The city easily and quickly received invaluable information. The project was funded and held in cooperation with the Finnish Independence Fund Sitra. More on the case story by Yle news.
